When we first start to meditate, there is a sense that Bliss and Freedom are to be attained through constant effort. We think that after so many years of practice, at some point, if we are lucky, the state of Bliss and Freedom will unfold. The wise Ones tell us that Bliss and Freedom are our true nature. It is who we are and who we always have been. In Meditation we have a chance to directly experience the Truth of this statement. When the chatter of the mind subsides, the Bliss and Freedom that reside at the back of it get revealed as our very own Being. Just close your eyes...
